Caroline Laffargue a débuté son parcours artistique en capturant l’effervescence urbaine des mégapoles américaines, traduisant dans ses toiles une énergie brute et une fascination pour le dynamisme des grandes villes.
En 2020, lors du premier confinement, son œuvre prend un tournant marqué par une immersion dans la nature. Les oiseaux, symboles de liberté et de fragilité, apparaissent pour la première fois, reflétant les bouleversements de cette période et un besoin profond d’observation et de contemplation.
Aujourd’hui, ses toiles, réalisées à l’huile, mêlent oiseaux et figures féminines en quête de repères essentiels. Ces femmes, aspirant à l’égalité et à la liberté, incarnent une recherche d’équilibre entre le monde naturel et humain, où fragilité et résilience se croisent.

Caroline Laffargue began her artistic journey by capturing the vibrant energy of American megacities, translating their raw dynamism into her canvases.
In 2020, during the first lockdown, her work took a significant turn, marked by an immersion in nature. Birds, symbols of freedom and fragility, appeared in her art for the first time, reflecting the upheavals of that period and a profound need for observation and contemplation.
Today, her oil paintings merge birds with female figures in search of fundamental grounding. These women, aspiring to equality and freedom, embody a quest for balance between the natural and human worlds, where fragility and resilience coexist.
